A lovely gift shop with the most awe-inducing florals! It’s always a fantastic day when I receive a bouquet or piece of jewelry from The Artworks. Their card selection is also top notch.

Is the service aloof at times? Yes, it is. I was there yesterday (June 2/23) and not one staff member said hello or even smiled a greeting. This doesn’t bother me as I don’t need staff fawning over me. That said, it may bother others.

I have loved this shop since I was little when it was in its old location. Whenever I have a really special event, I buy flowers from this shop knowing that they'll be outstanding, and they have been until my most recent purchase. I ordered flowers to be sent to my mom on her 70th birthday (a huge milestone for her). My budget was $100. Not a lot (I know), but that's what I have. I also recognize that quality flowers are expensive nowadays, but I trusted that they would respect my budget and send the best they could make within my means. Sadly, I was pretty disappointed with what they were able to produce for $82 + 18$ delivery. They send 8 paper roses (The vase pictured is my mom's). Granted I didn't specify what kind of flowers, I just said pretty and soft and as full as possible...

The Artworks owned by Wendy and Peter Turner is a real gem in #Yeg and has been known to me since the early 90s when the Pulp Fiction Juice Bar was next door to the flower shop all run by Peter; The pics here tell one how special this store is providing you have the funds to purchase one of a kind special item..and every Christmas there is a delivery by mail of the special items Wendy and Peter have chosen to promote at the Art Works. Bravo and immense gratitude to both Wendy and Peter!!

Art Works is amazing!

Two things I want to comment about a few low ratings... 1) There are comments about the high prices. I don't like generalities but there are many items and pieces that are very reasonably priced. But I also come here for some special pieces that are finds that are expensive but these can be like specialty boutique items that are handcrafted from a lesser known designer in NYC. They're not dollar store items. 2) There are a few comments about bad customer service. I bought a few pieces on a few occasions and have had the attention of 3 or 4 staff at a time helping me and to wrap or package my items.

As I noted, this is an amazing store to find unique pieces you won't find anywhere else from designers or artists from other locales. And the staff has always been helpful. Right in the middle of a huge Christmas rush and many floral orders, Vanessa took the time to discuss items in the store, she looked at my photo on my phone to see what piece would blend, and three staff chipped in to help package and wrap.

I love Art Works and I'd give it 6 stars if I could.

Wow. SUCH cool original cards. I could’ve stayed there reading every single one. Very lovely staff. Just a very cool vibes little shop. Definitely will return, especially for those cards!! Great taste in the selection lol. Job well done by the owner and all the staff here

Beautiful shop with great service. Ordered flowers for my workplace and I came with the intent of carrying/walking them back on my own, but staff was so sweet to send Alyona with me. She was pleasant to speak with and is a ball of sunshine. Will definitely be back for future orders!
