Tijdens een regenachtige dag in Gent bracht ik samen met een vriendin een bezoek aan de parfumzaak April in het centrum. Bij binnenkomst werd ik hartelijk begroet door een dame die mijn dag meteen opvrolijkte met haar warme glimlach en vriendelijkheid. Ze nam de tijd om mijn geurvoorkeuren te begrijpen en meerdere opties voor te stellen om uit te proberen. Ik kan deze parfumzaak en vooral Sofie ten zeerste aanbevelen voor haar deskundige en persoonlijke service. Bedankt en tot een volgende keer!

I had an absolutely shocking experience last Christmas. I walked to the cashier's with two products and asked them to open a loyalty account so that I could already collect the points on the two products I was buying (they were expensive Sisley makeup). The lady at the cashier asked me to come back after Christmas because they were too busy. I looked around and I was literally the only person in the store besides the two assistants.
I put the products down and left the store and bought them later online from another store.
If they are too busy to serve the ONLY customer in the store, they don't deserve any customers. Zero stars from me.

Mooie centraal gelegen parfumerie in hartje centrum Gent (Veldstraat). Je vindt er een behoorlijk brede keuze aan parfums en cosmetica. De winkel is middelgroot maar de bediening is er op en top. Niks was de verkoopster te veel, heeft me zeer goed en vooral zeer efficiënt verder geholpen. Zeer vriendelijk en beleefd en men draagt er duidelijk klantvriendelijkheid zeer hoog in het vaandel. Één minpuntje, let op de prijzen van (sommige) perfums ! Het parfum dat ik kocht stond in de INNO €59, bij ICI PARIS XL €61,90 en bij PLANET PARFUM €62,90. Voor sommige mensen speelt dit een rol, dus uitkijken is de boodschap. Verder alles op en top.

Zaterdag 28 september een drukke dag dus ook in Parfum planet...
1 medewerker aanwezig en die werkt dan nog eens aan een tempo van een slak ... heel traag 30 min wachten om eens een parfum te testen .... ben dus vertrokken ik kan wachten maar je mag niet overdrijven Ici paris was veel sneller in het bedienen! Tot nooit meer!

So, I have bought products here a few times now, but only if I have no other choice.
I always avoid going here since the staff is generally horrible.
With long faces they will (hardly) inform you on their products (which are fine, so once you are outside you can enjoy your make up or perfume...).
Today I was informing about a foundation. Since the colour in the foundation that I wanted did not match my skin, I looked for something else. I asked a sales representative for her opinion which was "it looks fine" (this is a €50 product, I want it to look more than fine).
When I informed her that I NEEDED a foundation WITH SPF, she started acting annoying saying that I don't really need it that much... I know my skin, I decide on the product.
Another representative told me they only had SPF 15 foundations, when looking around I found some with 20 and 35.
I made up my mind and will no longer return here, I would rather go to another city than shop here again.

I went to the new store this week and they are soooo slow! They rather keep on talking to a customer and let me wait for a long time before I could pay which I should have not waited but I needed the product. They should make sure no one is waiting and they should think of others. I noticed they are very relax how they move there but they should still give good service to everyone.
