Great customer service. Dropped by on a Friday afternoon around 2:30 to order some paint for a project that I was half way through. They were swamped with orders and short two employees. The employee on the far left workstation told me that the best they could do was to have it ready by Monday. I explained that I was stuck in the middle of a project and needed the paint asap. He took care of mixing the paint for me right away. Thanks for going above and beyond and making my day. Exceptional service. Thank you.

I called a month ago asking for Subaru D2T touch up. The person on the phone was extremely nice, he said just give us about a month and we will have it as its not something we typically have in stock. I asked him are you sure i don't have to pre-pay or anything? He said nope, just give us a call in about 3-4 weeks and it should be ready

I call yesterday, and was talked to like a total p.o.s by someone when asking if it was ok to come in to pick it up, apparently my entire experience speaking to the other employee never happened.

No problem, ordered online. Have a great day

Located across the street from Stan's Diner on 1185 Newmarket street is CMAX. CMAX is small automotive NAPA authorized parts outlet store that also mixes and prepares aerosol spray paint for use to touch up paint damage to your car. Just tell them the colour code, year, make, and model of your car. These spray cans are not cheap, but they are cheaper than the spray cans at the car dealerships and the colours match your OEM car paint colour very well. You do have to pay for the spray cans prior to them mixing it and it took me 24 hours before I could pick up my paint cans. Despite that, I have confidence that their paint is fresh and will likely perform better. I recommend this place to buy your car paint.

I can't say enough good things about Daniel Berube of CMAX. Daniel gave me lots of time to evaluate colour options and he provided me with some great information. I got what I needed to get going on my project (old golf cart restoration). Highly recommend!

Paint match was “ok” definitely not %100 the same. Service is terrible, both time I’ve been here I’ve left super disappointed. Seems like your wasting their time. If you have any questions your better off eating a hand full of sand, you ll get about the same info. I ll be using another spot next time. Only reason they got 2 stars is the paint was actually good quality but like I said even with my vin for reference they could not match it.

Absolutely horrible customer service. Phoned in to order paint for a small body repair job for a friends vehicle. I knew exactly what I needed right down to the paint code, 1K clear and primer to match. I warned my friend that the vehicle would not obviously be show quality as it is a 2007 would be done in my garage. The guy over the phone refused to take my order of products which as the CUSTOMER, would be coming out of my pocket. He ended up making a snarky remark before rushing me off the phone. I later phoned FinishMaster to order through them and within 5 minutes, my order was taken and was explained that they had a product that would work better than what I was originally going to use. Do not shop here is the message I’d like to send but I’d rather people know the horrendous service instead that I received. I’ll spend my money elsewhere.

One of the better automotive places in Ottawa. Where most of the places are just money grab. This place will do what's best for the customer. I'd definitely recommend this place, if you're looking for paint mixes, or all the other services they provide.

knowledgeable keep up the good work
